#TauntLeftistContext #AdvocacyUSAntiDefamationLeagueADL "Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, extremists and antisemites across the ideological spectrum have used the war as fodder for promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories. Emanating from classic antisemites and white supremacists, as well as QAnon influencers and Proud Boys acolytes, classic tropes of Jewish power, financial control and 'abuse' of the Holocaust narrative abound online. In just a few short weeks, tens of thousands of social media users have been exposed to these dangerous lies.
Some allege that the war itself is orchestrated by Jews for both financial control and global prowess. Others refer to the 'Khazarian Mafia' or the 'Khazarian invasion' to justify and even celebrate Russia's invasion. This conspiracy alludes to the belief that modern Eastern European Jewry descended from a people known as the Khazars, who allegedly converted to Judaism in the eighth century and lived in present-day Ukraine. Believers claim Putin's incursion into Ukraine was a means to help the country counter/dispel an invasion of 'Khazar Jews.'"

#EDUUSUniversityVirginiaTechMattGabriele[skeet] "Those claims by the Right, however, seem at first glance to not make sense. They state that they represent the will of the people and want to terrorize those they consider 'tyrants.' And yet, they themselves have tried to overturn a legitimate election and more recently enacted sweeping voter suppression laws across several states in order to cement their own hold on power. In addition, the Right and their enablers rush to stake out absolutist positions related to 'religious liberty' or 'freedom of speech' but then cheer on (or directly use) state power to limit just those liberties and freedoms they purport to support. For example, they assert 'liberty' to discriminate against the LGBTQ+ community, and assert 'freedom' to legislate against mask-wearing during a global pandemic or to ban the teaching of history they don't agree with. ...
Over the course of 1792-94, the avatars of the 'will of the people' continued to narrow. It was no longer the legislature as a whole, composed of hundreds of delegates that embodied the 'will of the people,' but it specifically became the Committee of Public Safety led by Robespierre. He vocalized the public will and embodied the public good so that those who disagreed became existential enemies of France herself who needed to be eliminated. Hence, we wind up with the Terror -- denunciations and mass executions of perceived enemies both at home and abroad. The Terror, Furet argued, was only ended when Robespierre lost control of the discourse and no longer embodied the public will, so he himself became a threat and was executed.
Contemporary America hasn't, of course, reached its own Terror. But the parallels between the modes of discourse in the late eighteenth- and early twenty-first centuries are striking. The Right has adopted an authoritarian mode of discourse because they think they embody the will of the people, the nation itself, and so are the only legitimate political actors." https://prof-gabriele.medium.com/on-guillotines-and-the-american-right-de0343b72341[Wikipedia]

Gramsci was a radical communist as well but he believed that communist revolutions could never be successful if people still identified with the institutions of Bourgeois Society family Nation religion and so on he claimed that Marx's end state of radical equality could materialize only if people were first emancipated from all such communal loyalties he argued that people could not be World citizens if they also felt French or Italian that they would not be able to transcend social class if they were also proud members of a particular family and that they would not truly believe in a terrestrial Utopia if God still loomed large in their hearts in its tendency to exaggerate or even caricaturize these Bourgeois values that the Marxists try to undermine values such as the nation shown according to Gramsci the attempt to impose radical equality through political revolution would only trigger a strengthening of nationhood family and religious Instinct as a form of defence and such attempts at political revolution could indeed be counterproductive to the Communist cause the true Communists then according to Gramsci had to find a way to neutralize these defence precisely these grumption ideas formed the basis of the immensely influential Institute for social founded in Frankfurt in 1928 but relocated to the United States in the 1930s its members developed a critical theory was to some extent in their view a fashionist this is what we now basically call political correctness and it is essentially a slippery slope argument If you defend national identity you are denounced a nationalist which then is not so far away from national socialism and so on If you defend the traditional family you are essentially seen as a sexist which then is only one or two steps away from Mussolini and so on anyone defending Bourgeois values in public discourse must be familiar with this intellectual reflex from defending Bourgeois values to being denounced as a fascist and it has been described with some irony as Godwin's law of course the watertight prediction that within three steps conservative positions are always being linked to Fascism but the thinkers of the Frankfurt School actually believed this to be true they genuinely thought that resisting the deconstruction of Bourgeois values was only a few steps away from Fascism and that such Bourgeois values were in fact inherently unjust oppressive and backwards hewing then with this double-edged sword critical theory on the one hand and political correctness on the other the teachings of the Frankfurt His wife is Brazilian model Amanda Ungaro. The couple split up for a time in 2018, and who gets the credit for bringing them back together? One guess (okay, it's Trump).
In 2013, he was made an honorary ambassador to the UN for Dominica. Ungaro is an honorarv"

#NewspaperUSBrdshtUSAToday "Good afternoon. The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today. The individuals lying about me are devoid of ethical standards, humility, and respect. I do not object to their ignorance, but rather, I reject their mean-spirited attempts to defame my reputation. I have never been friends with Epstein. Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time, since overlapping in social circles is common in New York City and Palm Beach. To be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice, Maxwell. My email reply to Maxwell cannot be categorized as anything more than casual correspondence. My polite reply to her email doesn't amount to anything more than a trivial note. I am not Epstein's victim. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump. I met my husband, by chance, at a New York City party in 1998. This initial encounter with my husband is documented in detail in my book, MELANIA. The first time I crossed paths with Epstein was in the year 2000, at an event Donald and I attended together. At the time, I had never met Epstein and had no knowledge of his criminal undertakings. Numerous fake images and statements about Epstein and me have been circulating on social media for years now. Be cautious about what you believe. These images and stories are completely false. I am not a witness or a named witness in connection with any of Epstein's crimes. My name has never appeared in court documents, depositions, victim statements, or FBI interviews surrounding the Epstein matter. I have never had any knowledge of Epstein's abuse of his victims. I was never involved in any capacity--I was not a participant, was never on Epstein's plane, and never visited his private island. I have never been legally accused or convicted of a crime in connection with Epstein's sex trafficking, abuse of minors, and other repulsive behavior. The false smears about me from mean-spirited and politically motivated individuals and entities looking to cause damage to my good name to gain financially and climb politically must stop. My attorneys and I have fought these unfounded and baseless lies with success and will continue to maintain my sound reputation without hesitation. To date, several individuals and companies have been legally obligated to publicly apologize and retract their lies about me, such as The Daily Beast, James Carville, and Harper Collins UK. Now is the time for Congress to act. Epstein was not alone. Several prominent male executives resigned from their powerful positions after this matter became widely politicized. Of course, this doesn't amount to guilt, but we still must work openly and transparently to uncover the truth. I call on Congress to provide the women who have been victimized by Epstein with a public hearing specifically centered around the survivors. Give these victims their opportunity to testify under oath in front of Congress, with the power of sworn testimony. Each and every woman should have her day to tell her story in public, if she wishes, and then her testimony should be permanently entered into the Congressional Record. Then, and only then, will we have the truth." https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2026/04/09/melania-trump-epstein-statement-transcript-white-house/89538207007/
