The point that 'politicians are all the same' also feels very #BehaviourDefeatism.ist (saying something about the lack of #PhenomnAgencyEmpowerment that is presumably, felt by those who are making the statement). The obvious question to ask is about who benefits from this position i.e. who's interests does disengaging from politics serve?
