#NarrativeWarWWII hero, creating a clear contrast with the
#IdentityLGBTQIATrans protesters behind him. It's worth noting that while the war reference is (presumably) only used as a metaphor, in actual terms, the elderly man would need to be over 100 years old (born around 1920) to have fought in this conflict.
