Addendum the argument offered up by this meme seems to follow the logic of the #ReasoningFallacyArgumentFromAuthority "an appeal to the testimony of an authority outside of the authority's special field of expertise." https://philosophy.lander.edu/logic/authority.html where the #CharacterisationCelebrity status of the former group is used to invalidate their perspective.
