In doing so, the tweet makes the assumption that what we wear / our clothing has no cultural function - that it has a purely functional purpose. This is good example of #TheoryInstrumentalism. Curiously, I wonder what this tweeter would think if criticism was made of clothing, which had cultural significance to them? #TauntWokePolice
