Addendum Oh, the power of 'wanting to believe' over the reality of verifiable truth. This make more sense when considered from the perspective 'a church-centred version separation of church and state' (rather than the more accepted 'government-centred' model) i.e. being a "Christian, a conservative, and a Republican, in that order" (Drabold 2016) http://trigg.gr/t/16090 According to this interpretation, Trump is defending the integrity of the church from the interference of central Government and in being a novice politician, hasn't been sullied by the requirements and mechanisations of political institutions. #LegislationUSConstAmdt1EstablishmentClause
