[URL redacted]
"Rijksmuseum also remove the night watch, because someone with Surinamese roots will pass by. woke madness does not stop by itself. (woke is distantly reminiscent of the witch persecution, or: the paranoia of the dark times)." #OrgNLRijksmuseum #ToponymAmericaSouthSuriname

"The live performance of the painting 'The Night Watch' (1642) by the Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn is a mighty beautiful, original performance! This typical Dutch act is performed by a colorful group which is dressed to perfection in the Baroque style from the Golden Age. The dog from the 'Night Watch' is also included and makes it complete. The basic performance consists of an 'unexpected' arrival of the company in the hall, whether or not between your guests. Preceded by drummers, the company walks straight out of the Golden Age into the event, with astonishing audiences as a result. The audience is blown away and doesn't know what to expect. Once on stage, the extras get into position. There is beautiful bombastic, classical music and the drummers give a roll! 'Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you, the 'Night Watch'!'" https://www.events.nl/nieuws/de-nachtwacht-leeft #IRLPainterRembrandtVanRijn #1642_TheNightWatch https://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/collection/SK-C-5
