#_Riled reaction to article i.e https://www.mensdayout.com/in-the-social/myntra-to-change-its-logo-after-complaint-calls-it-offensive-towards-women/ i.e. argument between two #ToponymAsiaSouthIndia.n #PoliticsConservatismSocialSoCon groups - one, which is offended by sexual interference implied by the #BrandMyntraBrand 'M' shaped brandmark/logo and secondly in the tweet here, a denial that the brandmark makes any interferences at all - commenting that it's similar to Gmail's 'envelope' logo (presumably, because both represent the letter 'M'). This feels like classic #TheoryInstrumentalism i.e. that the brandmark is "just a logo/reconfiguration of the letter 'M' - no cultural meaning/interferences" (an argument, which undermines the central function of communication i.e. to 'communicate' and not simply to 'represent' meaning).
