Context: #PhenomnVoxPop.s of white and #IdentityAmericanBlackAndAfrican people used to justify conservative policy of #LiteralVoterIdentificationVoterID as per the #LegislationUS2021GeorgiaElectionIntegrityAct (originally known as Georgia Senate Bill 202 (SB202)). On the surface, the comparison between the two groups/answers appears impartial however, there two things operating here, which are conveniently overlooked:
1). the groups are self-selecting and therefore not representative.
2). the tenor of the questioning of the white/first group is about compassion and fairness - when the same questions/answers are retold to black respondents - the points are framed as a challenge and seeming criticism (provoking a defensive response).
