Addendum such issues are clearly much more complex than simple binaries of 'this versus that' and when taken out of context reads like #PhenomnResponsibilityBlamingVictim i.e. that such responsibility falls solely on the shoulders of #IdentityAmericanBlackAndAfricanPOC.s, as per the tenor of this tweet. While certainly not wanting to over exaggerate this too much (as clearly the phenomenon of slavery is on a completely different scale to any comments made by a newsreader) however at least metaphorically, this comment feels like support for #OtheringCaricatureSlaveryHouseNegro (where Lemon's criticism of black youth is reframed as unquestioning support for the #PoliticsStatusQuo) against Lemon's supposed #TauntWoke perspectives, which according to this slavery metaphor, casts him as #OtheringCaricatureSlaveryFieldNegro.
