De Volkskrant has since removed the print from its website 'because this print stigmatises Moroccans in Morocco and in the diaspora'. Finally, the editors-in-chief regret that the cartoon was distributed on paper and online. What a sadness. The rioting youths have been more stigmatising in the Netherlands in the past month than those forty million other Moroccans. And in any case, they have been in the news more often and that's what a cartoonist has to rely on. That sadness of not wanting to understand a cartoon in its context. Those big terms like 'Go and be ashamed' and 'The print stigmatises'. Those weak knees of the Volkskrant (chief) editors to remove the print from the site under pressure from readers crying out. It can't be from their own conviction because then they wouldn't have placed him first. Sad everyone. In the early 1980s, feminism in our country was at its peak. We are talking about a court with the majority of justices appointed by a party that has not won a popular presidential election more than once in 30 years. Ruling against the majority of Americans.
