@MadeleineKekauoha [name pseudonymized]: #woke Ok. 😎 [URL redacted]

"OK.
I have 2% Neanderthal genetic material in my body. That's why I identify myself as Neanderthal from now on.
I appropriate the cultural law of my ancestors. That means I may hunt for my good.
I eat meat!" #MetaphorTransformationEvolutionNeanderthal #ReasoningFallacyReductioAdAbsurdum

@NikitaDoakes [name pseudonymized] [03]: "Staff told not to say 'ladies' in the Lords". If being #woke means using inclusive language then count me the fcuk in. The anti-#woke brigade are thick, backward-looking Neanderthal throwbacks IMO. 👇 [URL redacted]

"Staff told not to say 'ladies' in the Lords"

Context: #NewspaperUKBrdshtTheTimesBenClatworthy "The House of Lords has been accused of 'pathetic wokery' after staff were told not to use 'offensive' terms such as ladies and gentlemen. Staff in the upper chamber have been issued with an 'inclusive language guide' that lists words and phrases that they should avoid using. These include 'manpower', when neutral alternatives such as 'workforce' or 'staffing' are preferred. Instead of 'common man', staff should say 'average person' and a person's class should be referred to as their 'socio-economic status'. 'Man-made' should be replaced by synthetic or artificial. The guide, obtained by The Mail on Sunday, says; 'The language you use impacts others around you.' The historian Andrew Roberts said: 'It's sad and somewhat pathetic that such ultra-wokery should have extend-ed to the Lords, which ought to have remained above such ludicrous faddism.' A House of Lords spokesman said: 'Parliament strives to be an inclusive workplace where people are valued for the skills and experience they bring. Part of this is providing guidance and information to staff and line managers on inclusivity on an advisory basis.'" #NewspaperUKTabloidTheDailyMail #IndivHistorianAndrewRoberts
