"Freedom of speech and political correctness are recurrent and contentious topics in contemporary society. The present study (N = 300 North-American adults) aimed to advance empirical knowledge on these issues by investigating how cognitive ability and trait emotional intelligence predict individuals' support for freedom of speech and concern for political correctness, considering empathy and intellectual humility as mediating variables. We demonstrate that both trait emotional intelligence and cognitive ability uniquely predict less concern for political correctness and more support for freedom of speech. Mediation through empathy slightly suppressed the effects of cognitive ability and emotional intelligence on concern for political correctness, whereas intellectual humility no longer served as a mediating variable in the overall path analysis. Bad situations start with bad ideas too young for kids to understand, and worst if he or she suffers from mental illness. WE ARE looking in all the wrong places to blame that on Guns. Guns DID NOT PUT THE BAD INTENTION IN THE KIDS OR PERSON FIRST, it is what was taught or shared as an idea or an idea of hate initially.
Instead of teaching kids academic subjects (Math, Science, Technology, Geography, History..etc) ADULTS as TEACHERS fill their heads with mature problems, adult subjects, politics, all forms of sexual freedom, grooming them to pick a side from even their parent..etc.
KIDS are too young to understand or should be burdened to think about at their young age. Thus confuse them and when some has mental illness as well, THIS IS LIKELY WHAT HAPPENS AS AN ENG RESULT.
GUNS DO NOT KILL PEOPLE. PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE. AND THEY START WITH A BAD IDEA OR INTENT. THIS IS ON THE EXTREME LEFT AND THEY HAVE MUCH TO ANSWER FOR OR THIS WILL KEEP HAPPENING.
